You will also get to hear from some new voices and will be able to return to the office back in person to meet with us this semester. We are eagerly looking forward to any feedback and suggestions you have for us to cover!
For new Panthers joining us, get ready to grow alongside your peers professionally and learn to understand what makes Chapman talent so sought after! We have so much information we are excited to share with you and encourage you to engage with our team as much as possible. While we may not be a club or organization, our department has the same welcoming and familial spirit. We absolutely love seeing students in our office and at events throughout the semester and hearing about your needs and accomplishments!
To learn more about what we do as Peer Career Advisors, read our blog here.
Feel free to stop by our office, introduce yourself, and learn more about what we have to offer you! For now, let us Peer Career Advisors introduce ourselves:
Hey Panthers! I’m Kelly, a Business Administration Management Major and Leadership Minor going into my last semester (I’m still trying to process this, ahh)! I am a first-generation commuter student from Westminster, California, who has been working at the Office of Career and Professional Development as a Student Assistant and Peer Career Advisor for over three years and am involved in other areas on campus. I am in a professional business fraternity on campus, Delta Sigma Pi, I’ve served as an Orientation Leader for three years, and I’m in Mortar Board. During my time at Chapman, I have completed four internships and have worked as an Event Producer and Operations Assistant off-campus. Some fun facts about me are: I am obsessed with crime shows, I love to travel, I enjoy creative activities, and I’m looking forward to snowboarding season!
I love getting to know students and enjoy my role as a Peer Career Advisor. I’m always excited to share new helpful resources and see my fellow Panthers succeed! I would love to help you connect your passions and interests to your professional development and goals, so I invite you to make an appointment with me!

Hi! I am a First-Generation, third year Business Administration student with a minor in Psychology. I am originally from Rancho Cucamonga, CA, but have since officially relocated to Orange!
I have been helping my peers with their resumes and cover letters since high school, and I love doing so in college! I started at the Office of Career and Professional Development as a Front Desk Assistant and have since transitioned to a Career Peer Advisor. I started at the very beginning of my freshman year, pre-pandemic, and am now coming back in person as a Junior!! I got my first internship through our Chapman-specific job board, Handshake, as a sophomore at Chapman, which has since turned into a part-time role where I get to work remotely and on my own time!
I absolutely love meeting with my peers and talking to them about all things career and just about life. I love hearing about what everyone is doing and what they’re involved in and then using that to be applied towards their future career!
For those of you who are interested, I have experience applying to both large and small companies and truly believe that there are benefits to both. Because of the pandemic, I have loads of experience networking both in-person and virtually and can definitely help you with either form. Outside of work and career-related activities, I love fashion, going backpacking, thrifting, strength training, yoga and taking small steps towards a more sustainable lifestyle.
