Chapman sanctions Good Neighbor Classes, fines to students in violation of Code of Conduct
March 16, 2016
At a previous meeting of the Neighborhood Advisory Committee, Dr. Jerry Price, Chapman’s Dean of Students, reported that students in violation of the code of conduct, and who have held disruptive parties, would be subject to certain penalties for their inappropriate behavior.
Since the beginning of 2016, twenty students have been sanctioned to Good Neighbor classes where they learn the importance of being productive and respectful members of the community. These classes are mandated after a first offense.
Four additional students have also had fines assigned to their student billing statements, which is mandated after a second offense.
