Helicopter to lift HVAC equipment onto Roosevelt Hall on Sat., June 4

As part of the renovation project on Roosevelt Hall, Chapman University’s HVAC contractor will use a helicopter to lift heavy air conditioning equipment onto the roof of the building on Saturday, June 4, starting at 8 a.m. The work is expected to be complete in one hour.
Roosevelt Hall is located at the northeast corner of Palm and Glassell and faces Memorial lawn. The map below showcases the affected area, with Roosevelt Hall being #41 on Chapman’s campus map. Everyone in the area should be aware that wind caused by the helicopter rotor blades is very strong.
