Socktober Saturday is Just Around the Corner! Help support homeless men, women, and children living in the City of Orange
September 29, 2017
Chapman University invites you to join our free community-wide pancake breakfast to raise important donations benefiting Mercy House’s Family Care Center, a shelter for homeless families living in the City of Orange.
Our neighbors are invited to bring a package of unopened socks or underwear and join the Chapman Family for breakfast on October 7th from 9am-11am on Bert C. Williams Mall (right in front of Memorial Hall).
100% of donations will benefit homeless families from our great city. All sizes are needed—kids, teens, men, and women. Travel-sized personal hygiene items and laundry detergent are also welcome, and every donation counts.
Parking is free in any of Chapman’s parking lots and structures.
So what do you say? Grab your family and friends, stop by Socktober Saturday, and let’s enjoy some delicious pancakes while we do everything we can to give back to the community we love.
