As the Southern California weather drops to a balmy 65 degrees, it’s time to get in the holiday spirit! Lucky for you, it looks like “snow” is in the forecast at Chapman University on Wednesday, November 15.

Chapman University’s annual celebration of Winterfest and Doy’s Holiday Tree Lighting is just around the corner. The night will kick off at 5 p.m. with musical performances from the Chapman University Big Band, a reading of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, free hot chocolate and cider, and photos with Santa.

  • 5:00 p.m. – Piazza Opens
  • 5:30 p.m. – Lighting of Doy’s Holiday Tree
  • 6:00 p.m. – Photos with Santa Claus

Winterfest is always free and open to the public. We hope you all join us for a night of tradition and fun in the Attallah Piazza! View parking information.

Special note: We have heard our neighbor’s concerns about fireworks and will not to include them in this year’s Winterfest celebration. Chapman University administration is currently looking into alternative digital light displays for future events.
