On Saturday, April 28th, about 300 Orange residents and students came together with their four-legged friends to celebrate the second annual Chapman Dog Day put on by the Student Government Association and University Programming Board.

Everyone was asked to bring their furry companions, and all dogs were welcome onto the Aitken Arts Plaza in front of the Musco Center to enjoy the sunny afternoon.

Not only were there plenty of dogs, but also performances, food, vendors, and other means of entertainment. Chapman’s Simply Vocale a capella group and the Wimberly Bluegrass Band sang beautifully for the crowd as they explored different booths and snacked on refreshments.

Chapman students and members of the Orange community had a great time as they mingled and celebrated the shared passion for dogs. The day was filled with laughter, chatter, and delightful harmony. We cannot wait to have you at next year’s Dog Day event!
