The University’s annual Chapman Dog Day is back again!

On Saturday, April 28, join us on the Aitken Arts Plaza in front of the Musco Center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for an afternoon of refreshments, music, games, vendor booths and four-legged friends. Students, staff, faculty, the greater Orange community, and your pups, (of course,) are all welcome!

After last year’s great turn out of roughly 250 students and community members, Chapman’s Student Government Community Outreach Committee is hoping this time around will be even more of a success. This year, they’ve teamed up with Chapman’s University Program Board to make the event bigger than ever before. The student organizers are hoping to provide an opportunity for Chapman students and neighbors to mingle and get to know each other in a fun environment.

Orange Police Department is always here to protect us–and their Police Service Dogs are too! Two K-9 teams will be joining us at Dog Day, where they will be able to answer any safety questions, as well as take photos. Trust us, you won’t want to miss K-9 Officer Jude King and his partner, Griffin and K-9 Officer Michael Osborn and his partner, Wyatt!

This year’s event will also feature performances by Chapman student a capella group Simply Vocale and the Wimberley Bluegrass Band.

We hope to see you there!
