Theatre majors Trevor Weil (’12), Michael Lee (’13), Steven Bravek (’13) and Jason Goussak (’14) were selected to participate in the USITT Elite training program in Las Vegas, NV. The program, hosted jointly by Cirque du Soleil and USITT, hosted a total of 32 students from across the country. Students were assigned to one of the following areas of study: Automation, Projections, Rigging or Audio. In addition to the classes, students “shadowed” a Cirque du Soleil employee during two performances.
