The bard is back in the Department of Theatre!  Twelfth Night, or What You Will by William Shakespeare is a comedy about a cross-dressing, ship-wreck surviving, poetry-loving girl (Viola) who finds herself at the center of a not-so-average love triangle.  Full of music, riotous behavior, drink, dance and giving in to self-indulgence, it is thought to be the last romantic comedy penned by the Bard.  Colorful and exotic, Twelfth Night is Shakespeare at his comedic best.

This production will be directed by associate professor Thomas Bradac, artistic director of Shakespeare Orange County.  Professor Bradac is the past recipient of the prestigious Dramalogue Publisher’s Award for Exceptional Achievement in Theatre for his work with Grove Shakespeare Festival, the OC Weekly Helena Modjeska Award for his contributions to theatre in Orange County, and more recently the Kennedy Center/American College Theatre Excellence in Education Award for his work at Chapman.

Performances  of Twelfth Night are Feb. 14-16 and 21-23 in the Waltmar Theatre, visit www.chapman.edu/copa for tickets.
