Students Tour New Cirque du Soleil Production

Alicia Guy, associate professor of dance, and Don Guy, assistant professor of theatre, took a group of dance majors and technical theatre students to see a performance of Cirque du Soleil’s Totem in Irvine and then did a backstage tour lead by the company manager, technical director and operations manager.

Technical Theatre Students Land Cirque du Soleil Internships

Theatre majors Michael Lee (’13), Katey Phillips (’14) and Francesca Muscolo-Arlt (’15) have recently been awarded Cirque du Soleil internships.  Michael will take an internship on the production of O at the Bellagio in Lighting and Automation, Katey will be a wardrobe crew intern on Zarkana at the Aria, and Francesca will be a wardrobe crew intern
