The Chapman University Commencement weekend is just around the corner and we are getting excited! We want to make sure Crean College seniors, faculty, and staff have all the essential information needed to have a hassle-free experience.

University Commencement Ceremony  (all schools and colleges), Friday, May 20, 2022 7:00 p.m. Wilson Field

University Commencement Ceremony is your opportunity to celebrate graduation with the entire class of 2022. All schools and colleges participate. Highlights will include:

  • Turning of the tassels as President Struppa will officially confer degrees
  • Celebrity keynote speaker
  • An official welcome from the Alumni Association
  • Open Seating – means you can sit with your friends!
  • Only graduating students may reserve guest tickets. Guest tickets must be reserved by May 6, 2022. Due to limited seating, students can reserve up to four (4) guest tickets. Tickets are not required for students, but students must RSVP to attend through Marching Order.
  • Waitlist requests for two (2) additional guest tickets can be made when reserving your guest tickets. Waitlist requests are not guaranteed. All requests are reviewed after the RSVP site closes on May 6, 2022, and decisions are based on venue capacity. Waitlist decisions will be sent via Chapman email by May 13, 2022.

Crean College of Health & Behavioral Sciences Commencement Ceremony, Saturday, May 21, 2022 7:00 p.m. Wilson Field

Graduates in all Crean College academic programs (undergraduate and graduate) are invited to participate. The ceremony will begin with a welcome by Dean Hill followed by a keynote address from Dr. Claudia Kawas, Professor of Neurology at UCI School of Medicine. Then comes time for you to walk across the stage and get your hard-earned diploma!

When and Where to Line-Up for CHBS Commencement:

  • Students: Line-up begins at 6:30 p.m. in Hutton Sports Center. Arrive in your cap and gown.
  • Faculty: Line-up begins at 6:30 p.m. in Anderson Athletic Complex . Arrive in your academic regalia.
