OCBJ Cover Top 50 Healthcare LeadersWe are proud to announce that Dean Janeen Hill has been named one of Orange County Business Journal’s Top 50 Shaping the Future of Healthcare in Orange County in the Educators category. This prestigious award is given to individuals who are advancing the future of holistic healthcare in Orange County. Other honorees included Marcia Manker, CEO, MemorialCare Saddleback, Annette Walker, President of City of Hope Orange County and many other prominent leaders in the community. Dean Hill has overseen the growth and success of Crean College undergrad programs on the Orange campus as well as health science graduate programs on the Rinker Science Campus in Irvine since 2014.

Dean Hill has been instrumental in her work bringing the health sciences to life at Chapman. She has led the way with numerous initiatives throughout which continue to have a positive impact on the university and the greater Orange County community, while supporting Chapmanā€™s larger goal of fostering innovation in the health science and professional services field. Future plans include the continued work of educating future providers, such as physicians, physician assistants, physical therapists, and speech language therapists with expertise in the diseases of aging to better serve Orange County’s aging population. The Crean graduate programs that have been ranked nationally by U.S. News and World reports include: Physical Therapy #97, Communications Sciences & Disorders #92, and most recently Physician Assistant at #96. The Rinker Science campus continues to thrive and evolve to meet the needs of students and the community. This month Rinker will be expanding with the opening of a new Student Services building, the Campus Center at Rinker, to accommodate the needs of our students, faculty and staff.
