Our challenge is the major decline in mental health due to the COVID 19 pandemic. During the pandemic, many people were forced to stay in their homes, and were therefore socially isolated, leading to a decline in mental health. We have created an app to help support the mental health of Chapman students. First, we conducted research and surveys to find out what we wanted for our app and also what the Chapman community needed. Then, we created a Miro mind map with all of our visions for the app, we created a Figma for app design, and finally we coded the application. This is significant because while there are many mental health apps out there, we have created an app that is catered to Chapman students and provides many modules such as chatting, words of affirmation, meditation, profile, resources, and customization.
