Chapman Law Students Land Global Internships
September 3, 2008
Chapman Law students had a global reach in the summer of 2008, with high impact internships that included work with the White House Counsel and CNBC London, among many others. Also, this summer, professor John Hall spearheaded a new cooperative program with Chapman’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, taking a group of film, law and humanities students to Cambodia to film a human rights documentary. Now in post-production, the film will be presented at film festivals and academic talks in 2009. A specialist on human rights issues in Cambodia and Phillipines, Professor Hall wrote a number of influential op ed pieces in 2007-08 on corruption in the ongoing Khmer Rouge (war crimes) Tribunal in Cambodia.
