The Honorable Raymond C. Fisher, Judge of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, will be the School of Law’s commencement speaker in May 2014. Judge Fisher is a former Associate Attorney General of the United States, the third highest-ranking official in the Department of Justice, serving from 1997-1999. Judge Fisher also served as a special assistant to California Governor Jerry Brown in 1975. He later went on to serve as Deputy General Counsel to the Independent Commission on the Los Angeles Police Department, also known as the Christopher Commission. Judge Fisher was nominated by President Clinton and confirmed by the United States Senate in 1999.

This year, we are honored to have the Honorable Diarmuid O’Scannlain, also of the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, to address the graduating class this upcoming May 2013.
