Fowler School of Law Alumnus is Mayor of the City of Brea

Brett Murdock (JD ’11) was elected Mayor of Brea for 2014 by his colleagues on the City Council.

Mayor Brett Murdock was elected to the Brea City Council in November 2010 to serve a four-year term as a council member. This is his first term serving as Mayor. Murdock has spent over 20 years involved with the City of Brea Community Services Department. He has also been running his own law practice, Brett Murdock Attorney at Law, in Brea, California since 2011.

He holds a B.A. in political science and philosophy from the University of California, San Diego and his JD from the Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law.
