Bar Association Day Brings Local Networking Opportunities to Fowler Law Students
October 18, 2016
Students met with representatives from several local bar associations Monday at the annual Bar Association Day hosted by Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law’s Career Services Office. The annual on-campus lunchtime event provides a convenient opportunity for students to learn more about participating in the Orange County Bar Association and its bar affiliates, and the educational and networking benefits they can provide throughout students’ law school years and beyond.
“The law is a profession built on relationships,” said Oscar Teran, Assistant Director of Career Services at the Fowler School of Law. “Our annual Bar Association Day allows Fowler students to build relationships with attorneys throughout the region by joining local bar associations. These professional relationships will lead to success not only today, but after graduation.”
Associations in attendance included: Filipino Lawyers of Orange County, Long Beach Bar Association, Orange County Bankruptcy Forum, Orange County Bar Association, Orange County National Lawyers Guild, Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, Orange County Women Lawyers Association, and St. Thomas More Society.
