Wylie Aitken, Chapman University Board of Trustees Chair and namesake of the Fowler School of Law’s Wylie A. Aitken Trial Courtroom, was recently interviewed for two segments of “Inside OC with Rick Reiff” on PBS SoCal.

In the segments, which will air this week, Aitken discusses his life, career, and passions, including Chapman University and the law. In addition to hosting the popular PBS show, Reiff is Executive Editor of the Orange County Business Journal.

Aitken is president and founding partner at Aitken*Aitken*Cohn in Santa Ana. He has earned a national reputation in cases involving wrongful death, severe injury, business fraud, and insurance bad faith. Aitken was the youngest president in the history of the California Trial Bar and has served on numerous influential legal committees, including the committee that recommends appointments for federal district judges in California. He has been consistently featured in Best Lawyers in America, The Preeminent Lawyers of America, and Who’s Who in American Law.

Aitken and his wife Bette’s generous naming donations at Chapman University include the law school’s Bette and Wylie Aitken Family Protection Clinic, Bette and Wylie Aitken Arts Plaza, and Bette’s Bistro at the Musco Center for the Arts.
