Launched in May 2024 to coincide with the school’s commencement celebrations, Fowler School of Law’s Amicus magazine is an annual publication commemorating a year in the life of our school. It’s a celebration of our students, our alumni, faculty and staff, introducing new readers to the broader Chapman Family at the Fowler School of Law.

Offering a comprehensive review of the school year, Amicus devotes its pages to all aspects of life at the Fowler School of Law, from essential metrics about the school, like bar passage rates and graduate employment outcomes, to incoming student admission details, the latest faculty publications, our competition teams, alumni profiles and a good deal more. Amicus serves as a worthy introduction to the Fowler School of Law for prospective students while also keeping alumni and the wider Chapman University community abreast of the latest developments at the school.

Amicus #1 is a concise account of the 2023/24 academic year, showcasing school events, symposia, academic life at Fowler, the outstanding cohort of Fowler alumni redefining the modern legal landscape, the latest work from our faculty, and the developments in our admissions, career services, and exceptional bar-preparation teams.
