Announced on October 16, 2015
Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law Henry Salvatori Professor of Law and Community Service John Eastman will present “Law and Order: Atticus Finch” at the Orange and Fullerton Public Libraries this weekend as part of the cities’ “Two Books – Two Cities” program.
Professor Eastman will examine law and order at the time of attorney Atticus Finch in Harper Lee’s novel To Kill a Mockingbird, illuminating the courtroom drama and civil rights issues found in Lee’s fictional world. The “Two Books – Two Cities” program is presented by the Orange Public Library and Fullerton Public Library to engage the two similar communities in dialogue about Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mockingbird and Go Set a Watchman. Free programming encourages both communities to discuss issues of race and fairness which remain at the center of current events. More information
