Molly Ball, national political correspondent for
The Atlantic
, will be on hand to launch Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law’s 2016-2017 Chapman Dialogue Lecture Series with “
2016 and the Great Disruption of American Politics
” on September 20. The talk will be held in Kennedy Hall 237AB from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be moderated by Fowler School of Law Dean Matt Parlow.

, CBS’s
Face the Nation
, PBS, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News and NPR. In 2012, she was awarded the Toner Prize for Excellence in Political Reporting for her presidential campaign coverage. She is also a recipient of the Sandy Hume Memorial Award for Excellence in Political Journalism and the Lee Walczak Award for Political Analysis. Before joining
The Atlantic
staff, she wrote for
Politico

Las Vegas Review-Journal

and has worked for newspapers in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Cambodia, as well as the

. She is a graduate of Yale University and was a 2009 recipient of the Knight-Wallace journalism fellowship at the University of Michigan.
