Fowler School of Law Wins the Petitioner’s Best Brief at Fifth Annual National Moot Court Competition

Fifth Annual National Moot Court Competition
was held February 7-8, 2014 at the Historic Embassy Suites in Downtown Charleston, South Carolina. The event was hosted by Charleston School of Law.
Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law was represented by two teams at the completion, Katherine Currie-Diamond
(JD ’14)
and Arthur Arutyunyants
(JD’15)
, and Sara Zimmerman
(JD ’14)
and William Kelly
(JD ’15)
.
Katherine and Arthur’s team won every ballot in their oral arguments. Sara and Will were recognized for having written the Best Petitioner Brief. Sara said it was “exciting and a great honor” to win the award.
The teams also enjoyed touring Charleston. Sara said, “The city itself has a lot of history, places to explore, and things to do.” You can see the Fowler School of Law students sightseeing below.
