The Leatherby Libraries presented a display celebrating Happiness Happens Month, celebrated annually in August.

This display aimed to help students and teachers have a positive mindset going into this new academic year. It includes publications such as A Short Guide to a Happy Life by Anna Quindle, Happiness Explained: What Human Flourishing Is and What We Can Do to Promote It by Paul Anand, and Thich Nhat Hanh and Katherine Weare’s Happy Teachers Change the World: A Guide for Cultivating Mindfulness in Education. These books motivate and inspire readers to take a more optimistic approach to life and learn more about the psychology of happiness.
