Interested in exploring different areas of study? Want to learn more about Chapman’s faculty members? If so, the Leatherby Libraries is proud to announce our new display on faculty publications!
This summer book display showcases some of the works of current faculty members at Chapman University. Representing a wide range of disciplines and areas of study, the display invites readers at every stage of their academic journey to visit for inspiration, discovery, and appreciation of the different scholarly contributions across the university. Browse through the display for a preview of the literature, research, and creative works featured in the display.

Highlights from this display include An Adventure Log: A Chronicle of Climbing, Running, and Biking by Dr. Jim Doti (Professor, President Emeritus), an anthology of articles about ordinary professionals who push their limits to climb the world’s tallest peaks and embark on other extraordinary physical adventures.
For those seeking a musical companion during the summer, Hidden Flame, by cellist Dr. Yoshika Masuda (Assistant Professor; Director of String Studies), offers a collection of hidden gems of the classical music world composed by women. The recording illuminates their stories of personal and societal challenges they faced throughout history.
