Chapman University School of Pharmacy’s 2023-2024 residency and fellowship match results have been a resounding success! CUSP had a 81% ASHP PGY-1 residency match rate, tying for 3rd in the state, and representing 26 students from our graduating PharmD class and 4 alumni. In addition, 9 students matched to a PGY-2 residency, 4 students obtained a fellowship, and 2 students matched to an unaccredited managed care residency.

“This year CUSP did exceptionally well in the ASHP residency match,” says Dr. Jelena Lewis, Associate Professor and Director of Residency and Fellowship Programs at CUSP. “The dedication and hard work of our students have truly paid off, and we are incredibly proud of our students and alumni and cannot wait to see what they do next.”

This achievement not only reflects the dedication of the faculty and staff, but also shows the caliber of students attracted to Chapman University’s Doctor of Pharmacy program. As these graduates begin their next chapter, we can anticipate the remarkable contributions they’ll make to the field and shaping the future of healthcare and patient safety for years to come.
