CUSP’s chapter of the National Rho Chi Society was selected for three awards at the 2026 Rho Chi Virtual Annual Meeting, held Saturday, March 21.

Led by President Nathan Nguyen and the Executive Board, CUSP’s chapter received the Spring 2026 Project Proposal Award for their proposal “Combating Vaccine Hesitancy One Needle at a Time.” Proposals are evaluated based on feasibility, completeness, innovation, and alignment with organizational goals. As recipients of the Project Proposal Award, our chapter will receive a certificate and a $500 cash award to support the implementation of this impactful initiative.

CUSP’s chapter was also recognized among the Top 10 Most Improved Chapters and ranked in the Top 10 for the Chapter Achievement Award out of 138 active chapters nationwide. Chapter-level honors are awarded after a rigorous selection process that utilizes chapter reports highlighting the breadth of activities and accomplishments over the past twelve months.

The chapter would like to thank Jennifer Le and Cathy Vu for their work on the report last year.
