Dr. Amy Kang has been selected as the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Infectious Diseases Practice and Research Network (PRN) Chair-Elect. Her appointment to this council will continue through 2027.
As Chair-Elect of this ACCP ID-PRN network, Dr. Kang will contribute to its objectives to “provide a means for communication and networking among members; provide quality educational programming and networking opportunities at national meetings; facilitate access to relevant information, expertise, and professional opportunities; and provide opportunities for collaborative research.”

Dr. Kang’s dedication to furthering the broader field of pharmacy is evident in her appointment to this leadership role. “This national position is highly sought after and is a testament to Dr. Kang’s recognized impact and expertise in the field of infectious diseases,” says Dr. Rennolds Ostrom, PhD, Dean of the School of Pharmacy. Dr. Kang’s research expertise in the field of infectious diseases and bacterial resistance in conjunction with her excellent teamwork skills will serve her well in her role on this committee.
