On October 17, 2026, Chapman University School of Pharmacy (CUSP) welcomed the California Pharmacists Association (CPhA) to the Rinker Health Science Campus for CPhA Day at Elevate Rx + HOD 2026. More than 350 pharmacy practitioners, students, pharmacy owners, technicians, educators, and industry leaders gathered for a day of professional development, collaboration, and connection, with many experiencing the Rinker campus for the first time.
Bringing the California Pharmacy Community Together
CPhA Day is a statewide gathering that brings pharmacy professionals together to strengthen connections, develop leadership, and advance the future of the profession.
The day began with remarks from Dean Ostrom, followed by a Merck product theater and a full schedule of continuing education and professional development sessions. Topics spanned standards of care, policy and regulatory updates, pharmacy business ownership, and career pathways in community pharmacy, transitions of care, ambulatory care, industry, and managed care.
Later in the morning, delegates gathered for the in-person closing session of the 2026 CPhA House of Delegates (HOD), concluding the association’s statewide policy process on the Rinker campus.
Connecting Across Practice Settings
In the afternoon, the Rinker Campus Center served as a hub for networking and career exploration. Attendees visited the Exhibit Hall, connected with residency and fellowship programs, explored opportunities at the Pharmacy Job Fair, and learned about student initiatives through the Student ASP Chapter Poster Showcase.
The day concluded with a Networking Reception, where colleagues from every practice setting across the state gathered to celebrate and reconnect.

Thank You, CPhA
CUSP extends its sincere gratitude to the California Pharmacists Association for bringing CPhA Day at Elevate Rx + HOD 2026 to the Rinker Health Science Campus. It was a privilege to welcome California’s pharmacy community to Chapman and open our doors to so many colleagues, partners, and future pharmacists. Thank you to the CPhA team, speakers, exhibitors, volunteers, and all who attended for making this gathering a success. We are proud to have been part of a day dedicated to strengthening connections and advancing pharmacy across California.
