• Dr. Amy Kang received the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Infectious Diseases Practice Research Network (ID-PRN) New Practitioner Award. The ACCP ID PRN New Practitioner award recognizes a clinician who has demonstrated excellence in infectious diseases pharmacy practice. They must have completed their training within the past 5 years and have made significant and sustained contributions to ACCP and the ID PRN. The award ceremony took place at the ACCP annual conference on 11/13 in Dallas, Texas.

• Dr. Cintia E. Citterio is Early Career Grant Reviewer for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Cell Signaling and Molecular Endocrinology (CSME) Study Section.

• Dr. Emmanuelle Schwartzman served as a reviewer for the Pharmacy Residency Expansion Grant Panel, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists.

• Dr. Rachita Sumbria served as a grant reviewer for the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP) PRCRP CTT-BraC Panel, Department of Defense (DoD).

Awards and Recognitions

• Drs. Keykavous Parang, Saharnaz Nedjat, Ren Ostrom, Reza Mehvar, and Ajay Sharma were recognized as the world’s top 2% most cited scientists in 2022 by Stanford University.
• Dr. Rachita Sumbria plays a key role in the groundbreaking study on the latest brain endothelial erythrophagocytosis research with CUSP PhD student, Rudy Chang.
