Announcing 2025 Alumni Award Recipients
August 27, 2025
CUSP is pleased to recognize two outstanding alumni whose impact is felt through mentorship, professional leadership, and service to Chapman University and the broader pharmacy field. Following this year’s White Coat Ceremony, the Alumni Leadership Award was presented to John Andraos, Pharm.D., and the Alumni Distinguished Service Award was presented to Isaac Lee, Pharm.D.
Andraos was recognized as the 2025 Alumni Leadership Award recipient, which recognizes alumni who continually grow into new professional leadership roles while also exemplifying the highest values of the profession and serving as a role model for students and peers.
Since graduating from CUSP, Andraos has sustained a level of clinical excellence and scholarly activity as an Assistant Professor at Western University of Health Sciences as a Clinical Pharmacist, Resident Coordinator, and Student Coordinator at Cedars-Sinai. He is an active member of several professional pharmacy organizations and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the AACP Pharmacy Practice Communications Committee. In addition, he holds several advanced licenses, publishes routinely (including a recent work in Reviews in Endocrine and Metabolic Disorders).
Following a successful tenure as Chair of the CUSP Alumni Advisory Board (AAB), Lee was recognized in front of fellow AAB members and emeritus chairs for his dedication to the advancement of CUSP. During his term, Lee expanded opportunities for alumni to connect with each other and current students, including taking the lead on organizing an in-person, alumni-driven CUSP event that brought soon-to-be graduates into the alumni body and encouraged them to become involved as alumni. The Alumni Distinguished Service Award recognizes the AAB chair for their exceptional leadership in guiding the board to fulfill its mission and annual goals.
We congratulate both Andraos and Lee for their well-deserved honors.
