Although Commencement has been postponed until further notice, the Chapman Family will still come together on May 22, 2020, for virtual celebrations to honor the Class of 2020! These events are not meant to replace the actual Commencement, but instead give us a way to celebrate together the academic year and the chapter of your life as a Panther at Chapman University. Get ready to celebrate…online!
Chapman University Virtual Celebration
May 22, 5:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
President Struppa and members of the senior leadership team will kick things off by hosting a virtual toast on the Chapman University Facebook account. This event is intended for the entire Chapman community (all schools and colleges). Invitations to this event were sent to all graduating seniors on Friday, May 1. Check your Chapman email for the details.
Wilkinson College Virtual Celebration
May 22, 5:30 p.m.
Following President Struppa’s Toast, Wilkinson College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences will be toasting our graduates as well! This celebration is intended for the Wilkinson College community including graduates, family members, friends, faculty, staff, and alumni to view. We will be posting updates via email and social media accounts via Instagram and Wilkinson Facebook.
Other Virtual Celebrations
Anyone seeking information about virtual events hosted by other schools and colleges should get in touch with them directly for details.
Since Facebook is more widely used by parents and extended family members of our graduates, it was selected as the primary platform. You don’t need a Facebook account to watch the event but you do need one to like, comment, and share.
Follow Us on Social Media
Anyone who is not currently following Wilkinson College on Facebook and Instagram is encouraged to do so. This will allow you to receive notifications and updates about our May 22 event. It’s also the best way to stay informed on everything going on in the college.
