We are looking for a few faculty members to participate in the upcoming Adobe Creative Campus Faculty Development Institute.

The practical purpose of the Adobe Creative Campus program is to foster engaged student experiences that develop digital literacies and connect the curriculum with career and community. The 2021 Faculty Development Institute will walk you through lesson plans and assignment prompts that leverage the power of Creative Cloud to promote student digital fluency and today’s most in-demand workplace skills, including creative problem solving, multimodal communication, digital agility, critical thinking, and productive collaboration.

Attendees will

  • experience a dynamic program of hands-on development workshops that will connect you with other Adobe Creative Campuses to share ideas, strategies, and solutions;
  • take away a digital teaching portfolio to inspire others on your campus; and
  • receive certification as an Adobe Creative Campus Faculty Fellow for completion of the program.

The 2021 Faculty Development Institute program begins on Monday, June 21 with a focus on career branding and e-portfolios. and concludes on Friday, June 25 with a showcase of the projects and portfolios that you and your colleagues create. There are eleven workshops to choose from, each of which focuses on a particular modality for academic student work. The program also includes virtual support “rooms” and breaks for mentoring, collaboration, and technical troubleshooting. Half of the workshops and breakouts are designed for novices and half are for intermediate users–you will self-select the sessions that are right for you.
