Canvas LMS users who use Apple devices can now enjoy a more streamlined experience thanks to a recent enhancement. The new feature enables students and instructors to interact with files from iWork apps like Keynote, Pages, and Numbers directly in Canvas, simplifying the submission process for assignments and making grading even more efficient for teachers. Instructors can upload iWork files to Modules and the Rich Text Editor. Additionally, users can submit or upload through Canvas apps (Student or Teacher) on iOS devices or the web (canvas.chapman.edu), and they will now preview in Canvas.

Students can showcase their creativity and skills by submitting captivating presentations in Keynote, interactive documents in Pages, or detailed spreadsheets in Numbers directly in Canvas. This improved workflow bridges the gap between creativity and productivity. Instructors must create the Submission Type Online assignment Text Entry and/or File Upload. After the student submission, instructors can use the Canvas SpeedGrader to review, mark up (annotate) with DocViewer, and offer valuable feedback to students.
