Instructors will find the new SpeedGrader draft comment feature particularly useful, as it ensures clarity and helps prevent oversights by clearly marking comments that still need to be submitted. Within the Inbox, Instructors can add a personal touch to their messages with a custom signature block, enhancing the professional feel of their communications. The new auto-response feature is a game-changer, allowing Instructors to manage their incoming Canvas messages efficiently during busy periods or when they’re out of the office.

Inbox Signature Block, users have the option to configure a signature when composing a message.
Change Benefit
This feature streamlines communication and enhances the effectiveness and professional appeal of inbox messages.
Feature Workflow
In the Inbox, click the Settings button.
To create a signature, select the Signature On radio button [1] and enter the desired signature in the Signature field [2]. Then, click the Save button [3].
Once a signature is saved, it displays in the message body when composing a message.
Add Auto Response to Messages

Inbox Auto Response, users have the option to set an auto-response for messages.

Feature Workflow
To create an auto-response message, select the Response On radio button [1] and enter the Start Date [2], End date [3], Subject [4] and Message [5]. Then, click the Save button [6].
