International Education Week Celebrates Diversity Join us on campus for free events on world cultures

Our neighbors are invited to participate in International Education Week from November 8-18. This annual tradition serves as a celebration and invitation to engage international, cultural, and diversity awareness at Chapman University. All events are free of charge to attend.
Global Fest
November 9, 2017, 12-1PM, Attallah Piazza
Students representing various countries will participate in an international flag procession and after, the event will showcase cultural performances by Chapman students that you won’t want to miss! Pua’ikeana (Hawai’i Club) will do a Hawaiian dance, a Vietnamese student will sing a pop song, Lakshya (Indian Culture Club) will perform a dance, and the Taiko Center of Los Angeles is returning a second year for a Japanese taiko drum performance! Light refreshments will be served.

Join Chapman University’s faculty, students, and staff in a variety of hands-on workshops dedicated to enhancing the understanding of Chinese language and Taiwanese culture. Various workshops will be offered, including: fan making, Chinese painting, and bamboo dragonfly helicopters. Food will be provided. Please RSVP here.
