Elizabeth Vysin (’11)



Elizabeth Vysin (’11) was admitted as a Masters Theory Candidate at Hartt College of Music in addition to her M.M in performance study. Her work on Berio Sequenza 16 and her undergraduate theory preparation at Chapman were significant enough to not only peak her interest in this area, but to gain her admission in this graduate venue.

Katie Kroko (’11)



Additionally, Katie Kroko (’11) just won the concerto competition at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where she is a masters candidate. She will be performing the Rozsa Concerto with the orchestra on Dec 9, 2012.  Katie is developing a teaching studio while working with the president of the American String Teachers Association this year, Dr. Steven Benham, on developing work with inner city string players.
