Department of Theatre alumna Rachel Parsons (’06) was featured in a supporting role as a high school student in
Shattered Silence, 
an independent film shown on the Lifetime network as
Sexting in Suburbia 
in January.  The film is loosely based on a true story of cyber bullying that happened Rachel’s current hometown in Massachusetts.  Rachel plays the best friend to veteran TV actress Liz Vassey and calls the film “not quite your typical Lifetime movie”.  For more information, visit the IMDb page for the film
