Theatre Alumnus Performing in Belz! A Jewish Vaudeville Musical

Lance Frantzich (’12) is currently appearing in
Belz! A Jewish Vaudeville Musical
at the Whitefire Theatre in Sherman Oaks, CA.  In this revival, 18 actors play 65 characters, sing an array of original and traditional Jewish songs, and tell dozens of jokes.  Revolving around a fictitious Jewish comedian, Hugo Schwartz, audiences travel through five decades, beginning in Galizia and venturing through the European channels of Prague, Vienna, Paris, and the Catskills.  Critic Janice Estrada wrote on the Life in L.A. blog:  “Frantzich’s sharp movements and animated facial expressions offered a fresh, genuine feel to each scene in which he was featured”.  The production runs through April 14, visit the
