Arsen Jamkotchian (’14) won first place at the 2013 California Association of Professional Music Teachers (CAPMT) State Honors Auditions. Arsen won the district competition in the fall and went on to compete in the finals this last weekend at the CAPMT State Conference.

In addition, Primo Cervantes (’16) won first prize this past weekend at the 2013 Orange County Symphony’s Young Musicians Concerto Competition.  As the first prize winner, Primo will perform Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 as soloist with the Orange County Symphony in August 2013.
