Coming this winter, the Chapman Global Arts Program (C-GAP) Initiative, made possible by the Steeve Kay Foundation, will engage students, artists and everyday people in exploring diverse cultures through the performing arts.  The program will offer performances, exhibitions, workshops, and training for students, artists, youth and adults who share our commitment to learning about different facets of our community and generate awareness of Chapman University and the creative program offerings in the College of Performing Arts, Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, and Wilkinson College of Humanities and Social Sciences among regional audiences, solidifying Chapman’s reputation as a nexus of creativity and innovation.  This year’s program will feature a partnership with Pacific Symphony and highlight the influence of Russian culture and politics on the arts.  Programming will include the Shostakovich Concert Series, film screenings, a vocal master class with Vladimir Chernov, and a visual arts symposium, “Everyday Stalinism”.  Visit
