Fall Dance Concert Choreographer Liz Maxwell
Associate professor of dance Liz Maxwell is one of several faculty choreographers who will be contributing to the Department of Dance’s Fall Dance Concert. The theme of Professor Maxwell’s piece is related to the idea of “liminal space”, which is defined as “occupying a position at or on both sides of a boundary or threshold.”
Department of Theatre’s Present Laughter to be Directed by Former Laguna Playhouse Artistic Director
This fall, the Department of Theatre will present Present Laughter, a 1939 Noel Coward comedy classic featuring sparkling dialogue and larger-than-life characters. Milena Kitic to Perform at Walt Disney Concert Hall
The Conservatory of Music Artist-in-Residence, mezzo-soprano Milena Kitic, will be the featured soloist for the Beethoven 9th Symphony at Walt Disney Concert Hall under conductor Charles Dickerson on Monday, August 26 Monday at 7:30 pm. Technical Theatre Students Land Cirque du Soleil Internships
Theatre majors Michael Lee (’13), Katey Phillips (’14) and Francesca Muscolo-Arlt (’15) have recently been awarded Cirque du Soleil internships.
