Participants at the inaugural ICCDC in 2017

On January 16, 2020, Chapman University will host an international group of researchers, clinicians, and students for the second International Cognitive-Communication Disorders Conference (ICCDC). Launched in 2017, ICCDC examines new research on cognitive, communication and social disorders after traumatic brain injury, including mTBI or concussion. However, research on other kinds of brain injuries will also be explored. Co-hosted by Crean College of Health & Behavioral Sciences and the Department of Communication Sciences & Disorders, this 3-day event will take place at Chapman University’s Beckman Hall (room 404) on the Orange campus.

The conference program will include a number of exciting presentations covering a wide range of topics. Some of the abstract titles are:

  • Relationship between objective post-injury performance and self-reported symptoms in sport-related concussion
  • Author: Kathryn Hardin
