Alumna Lacey Everett ’20 recently launched a new YouTube (YT) channel called Minds N’ Motion, and we can’t stop watching! On her website’s personal statement, Everett has this to say:

“I believe that anyone can heal from life’s setbacks and every person should have access to mental health care. A healthy mindset will lead to success in all areas of life. There is so much we can learn from others who share experiences. You deserve to live your best life, overcome challenges, and accomplish dreams.”

We couldn’t agree more! Since its inception, Crean College of Health and Behavioral Science has been dedicated to providing its students with a cutting-edge, integrative approach to health education. When we see our alumni apply this integrative approach in their careers, we swell with pride. Lacey was part of the last class to obtain a B.S. Kinesiology degree from Chapman before the program was replaced with Applied Human Physiology. She is now pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology while simultaneously becoming a future YT star. #Ambition #Goals

So many current and incoming students express an interest in combining psychology with their love of fitness, sports, and art. When we discovered that Lacey was doing just that, we definitely wanted to get her on the CHBS student radar! The first series of videos focus on athletics and her most recent release features an interview with Olympic wrestler Victoria Anthony!

In addition to subscribing to her YT channel, we encourage folks to check out Minds N’ Motion on Instagram.

Congrats Lacey! We wish you much success on social media and we will be eagerly awaiting your next video!
