FRESNO — 2009 Paradise High School graduate Kelsey Gillespie has been named member of the Grand Executive Committee, Grand California Flag Bearer, and Grand Representative to Germany, Italy and Michigan for the International Order of the Rainbow for Girls.
The announcement came during the group's annual Grand Assembly at Fresno Convention Center. Gillespie also received the Grand Cross of Color, an award for outstanding service.
International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is a service organization founded for girls in 1922 that centers around faith, hope, and charity, sponsored by the Freemasons.
Gillespie will serve for a year. Gillespie is studying film production at Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts.
