How do you make it to the Grammys? Maybe the first step is coming to Chapman to study Television and Broadcast Journalism. Kristen Wong (TBJ ’09) has spent the past few months working as assistant to Ken Ehrlich, longtime executive producer of the Grammy telecast.
“This was the most fun job of my life to date,” gushed Kristen. “I learned more than I ever could have imagined.”
She also got the chance to spread a little love to her fellow TBJ alums by getting about 30 of them passes to the mosh pit at the telecast.
And Kristen wasn’t the only Chapman alum working the Grammys that night. Ashley Esqueda-Croker was the red carpet hostess at the EMI after-party. Other recent alums have gigs lined up to work the Oscars.
So come to Chapman, study TV, and be a part of some of the biggest events on television every year.
