Busan West to launch in US

Iconic Korean director Bong Joon-ho will present the recently re-mastered 3-D version of The Host at the Busan West Film Festival, a new event launching next month in California.
The festival is organised as a collaboration between the Busan festival in Korea and Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. It will run 11-13 Nov.
Its lineup of Korean and other Asian films will primarily be drawn from the movies that play from today in the Busan festival and selected by Dodge College Professor Nam Lee.
The Busan West programme is expected to feature an opening night event and a closing night reception designed to showcase Korean and Asian culture through food, music, and décor.
