We are in Queenstown and are finished with the "trek" portion of our trip!

I arrived to New Zealand on January 12th with 15 other Chapman film students for the expedition documentary class taught by Professor Jeff Swimmer:

We are also accompanied by cinematographer Bob Poole who specializes in wildlife documentary and often works with National Geographic. The first 4 days after arrival was our trekking portion of the trip. We backpacked, camped and shot through the rain, mud, wind, & snow of the southern alps and pushed ourselves as much as physically possible to reach new heights.

We now are on to the second portion of the trip and have arrived in Queenstown where our main goal is to face fears and experience major adrenaline rushes as we partake in the extreme sports Queenstown is famous for.

I plan to do the canyon swing, bungee jump, & sky dive. The main theme of my documentary is to step outside of your comfort zone and live life to the fullest. Although I'm scared, I know that it is the experience of a lifetime and I'm not going to let it pass me by!
