The Doritos Super Bowl commercial featuring an El Segundo toddler earned the first-place spot in a Facebook viewers poll, landing the team that created it a $1 million prize.

The results of the USA Today Facebook Super Bowl Ad Meter were announced online at 7 p.m. Tuesday and followed three days of voting.

Called "Sling Baby," the commercial shows 17-month-old Jonah Folk sailing through the air to grab a Doritos bag from a boy in a tree house. It earned a score of 4.33 on a five-star scale.

Jonah's father, Justin Folk, a post-production editor who did the commercial's visual effects, had gathered with other members of the team Tuesday to wait for the results. He estimated the prize would be divvied up among 35 to 40 people who worked on various aspects of the commercial.

El Segundo residents Justin and Jill Folk created the "Sling Baby" commercial for the Doritos Crash Super Bowl contest that features their 15-month-old baby, Jonah. Jonah flashes a million-dollar smile as he takes a bite of one of his now-favorite snacks.

"Everybody's getting a piece," he said during a phone call as people cheered in the background. "It's spread out pretty good."

Doritos held a contest to encourage consumers to create 30-second spots for its chips. The top two commercials were shown during Sunday's big game and were in the running for a cash prize.

The company had pledged $1 million if either Doritos commercial was ranked the top-rated spot by the USA Today Ad Meter panel of viewers that measures immediate reactions to the national ads that aired during the game, or by Ad Meter Facebook voters.
