4 Chapman films screen this week at the Amelia Island Film Festival in Florida: Homecoming (Gursimran Sandhu), Incest! The Musical (Grant Reed), Shoot the Moon (Alexander Gaeta), and Manifesto (Michael Aronson)
The 51st Student Academy Awards were handed out in London, with three Olympic-style medal placements announced in the shorts categories of animations, live-action and documentary. Dodge alum Aaron Johnson ’24, received the Silver Award for his documentary short “The 17 Percent.”
Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film and Media Arts has secured the No. 4 spot in THE WRAP’s Top 50 film schools rankings. This is the college’s fifth year in a row at No. 4, a position it also holds in The Hollywood Reporter’s national rankings.
