Free Screening: The Bourne Ultimatum
April 1, 2013
Filmmaker-in-Residence Cathleen Summers invites you to join her for a free screening of The Bourne Ultimatum (dir. Paul Greengrass, 2007) on Tuesday, April 2 at 7:00 p.m. in Folino Theater.
Dodge College is hosting a free screening, open to the public, of the final film in the “Bourne Trilogy” mystery-action series, The Bourne Ultimatum. (Note that this film comes last in the timeline of stories based on Robert Ludlum’s novels, although it is followed by 2012’s Bourne Legacy, starring Jeremy Renner, which expands on the source material.)
About the film:
Bourne is once again brought out of hiding, this time inadvertently by London-based reporter Simon Ross who is trying to unveil Operation Blackbriar–an upgrade to Project Treadstone–in a series of newspaper columns. Bourne sets up a meeting with Ross and realizes instantly they’re being scanned. Information from the reporter stirs a new set of memories, and Bourne must finally, ultimately, uncover his dark past whilst dodging The Company’s best efforts in trying to eradicate him.
Summers will lead a Q&A after the screening with special guest producer Patrick Crowley (the Bourne series, The Other Guys).
Please remember food and drink are not allowed inside Folino Theater. All are welcome!
